Guest Bio:

“Do nothing and be dead in a few days” were the words Sandie Eggers heard from her husband’s surgeon, words that began her greatest season of challenge to date, a season that would require great resilience.

Through this very difficult time spanning several years, Sandie’s positive attitude and willingness to learn helped her build that resilience. By the grace of God, she is still standing, and is passionate about helping others build their own resilience. By sharing her story and by sharing her knowledge gained through successful completion of American Psychological Association-approved masterclasses, Sandie speaks to groups, leads workshops, teaches online classes, and does personal coaching with business and nonprofit leaders.

She is the author of Live Boldly and Embrace Joy: A True Love Story of Laughing, Loving and Living Through Terminal Cancer.

Sandie now lives in the Lowcountry. By God’s grace and blessing, she has achieved one of her personal goals: living in a place where the only “white stuff” she sees is beach sand.
